Love That Seeks the Lost
Scripture:
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Lk 19:10)
Reflection:
The Heart of Christ goes out in search of those who are far away. He does not wait passively. His love is active, persistent, and personal. We are called to reflect this same movement by reaching out, and not closing in. In daily life, this may mean a message, a kind word, or a willingness to forgive. A heart united to the Heart of Christ cannot remain apathetic or indifferent; it becomes a heart that seeks and welcomes. May our respective hearts reach out to other hearts, just as the Heart of Christ reaches out.
Prayer:
O my Jesus, just as Your Heart reaches out to others, help my heart to reach out to others too. Therefore, in reaching out, I ask for (name your request here).

Glory Be to the Father…
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.
Amen.

Lord Jesus, Your Sacred Heart is always open, with love, to each of us, especially when we are suffering. To all who come to You seeking Your help, You show Your compassion and healing power. You care for us when we are lost, sympathise with us in loneliness and comfort us in mourning; You are closest to us when we are weakest. You reach out Your hand to us when we stumble and have most need of Your help. I ask You to listen to my prayer during this Novena, and grant what I ask. …
If what I ask is not for my own or other’s good, grant me always what is best, that I may build Your kingdom of love in our world. Amen.
