Reflection on the WORD

Living a Discerning Life”: Jesus proclaimed to His disciples, “Cometo Me and listen to My Words, and act on them; and you will be building a house on rock.” Ponder on, “Jesus is inviting us to build a relationship with Him that is deep and personal. This will help us overcome the trials of our faith and vocation. Build a meaningful prayer life and love the Eucharist.”

Luke 6:47-49

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and acts on them - I will show you what he is like. He is like the man who, when he built a house, dug, and dug deep, and laid the foundations on rock; when the river was in flood it bore down on that house but could not shake it, it was so well built. But the man who listens and does nothing is like the man who built a house on soil, with no foundations; as soon as the river bore down on it, it collapsed; and what a ruin that house became!’
