Reflection on the WORD
Service - Faith: In today’s Gospel, Jesus laboured so selflessly that He did not have time to take His meals. Do we love and serve God single-mindedly and selflessly? Ponder on your experiences of serving the needs of others and the church. Are you Christ-like in your service?
Mk 3:20-21
Jesus went home, and such a crowd collected that they could not even have a meal. When his relations heard of this, they set out to take charge of him; they said, ‘He is out of his mind.’

Today's Pointers on God's Word
As you read the passage what words, phases or meanings caught your attention?
- •In the course of His ministry, Jesus was falsely accused of many things and called by all sorts of names. Thus, it was of no surprise that His relatives said that He was “out of His mind.”
- •Through the centuries, many of Jesus’ followers too endured hardships, criticisms and even to die willingly and courageously for the sake of the Gospel.
- •We too should expect challenges and sacrifices if we want to be true followers of Jesus. If our faith does not pose challenges for us daily, it is time to check whether we are living our faith fully.
