Reflection on the WORD
God’s Word – Mary: In today’s Gospel, Jesus praised Mary, His Beloved Mother, who cared and loved Him dearly, and more importantly, who obeyed His Father’s Will perfectly. Ponder on: Our love for our family would be deepened and blessed divinely, if our love for them flows from our love for God, who is our Creator, Saviour and Divine Light, and Peace.
Luke 11:27-28
As Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, ‘Happy the womb that bore you and the breasts you sucked!’
But he replied, ‘Still happier those who hear the word of God and keep it!’
