Reflection on the WORD
Remain in My Love – Faith: In today’s Gospel, Jesus proclaims to His disciples, “If you keep My Commandments, you will remain in My Love, and your Joy will be complete.” Ponder on: Do we experience deepest ‘Joys’ when we are: reconciled with God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation; and living His Will through our creative fidelity and challenging sacrifices?
John 15:9-11
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘I have loved you just as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete.’

- Jesus assures His disciples that His love for them is as deep as He loves His Father.
- This love is a steadfast and sacrificial love and for the disciples to experience this love of Jesus, they too must be willing to be single-minded and selfless in the way they relate to Him and one another.
- Let us pray that we too will have such love for Jesus in our daily living. How is God challenging you to love Him and others?
