Conversion of St Paul, Apostle: Saturday 25th January, 2020 January 25, 2020
Reflection on the WORD
Paul’s Conversion: We all know that Paul’s conversion from being a persecutor of Christians to one of the greatest evangelists, is a testimony that no sinner is condemned. Every sinner is called by God to witness the Gospel. Are we willing to allow God’s Spirit to transform our lives?
Mark 16:15-18
Jesus showed himself to the Eleven and said to them, ‘Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.
‘These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they will cast out devils; they will have the gift of tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they will lay their hands on the sick, who will recover.’

Today's Pointers on God's Word
As you read the passage what words, phases or meanings caught your attention?
- In today’s Gospel, Jesus commissioned His Disciples to proclaim the Gospel to all peoples and to baptize the believers.
- As believers of Christ, we are also responsible for preserving and proclaiming this Gospel to all peoples in our daily living. Primarily this can be done through Christ-like attitudes and behaviours towards others in acts of mercy, peace, love, unity and the like.
- Ask the Lord for the graces we need to live the Gospel values more fully so that our lives will draw others closer to His Truth and salvation.
