Reflection on the WORD
Obstinacy – Faith: There are those who turned away from God and the Church out of anger, misguided influences, and lured by evil forces. They are desperate, depressed and in the grip of darkness and sinfulness. Hold firmly on to your faith. Storm heaven for God’s Mercy and Light to shine on those who have strayed.
Luke 7:31-35
Jesus said to the people: ‘What comparison, then, can I find for the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children shouting to one another while they sit in the market place: We played the pipes for you, and you wouldn't dance; we sang dirges, and you wouldn't cry.
‘For John the Baptist has come, not eating bread, not drinking wine, and you say, “He is possessed.” The Son of man has come, eating and drinking, and you say, “Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.” Yet wisdom is justified by all her children.’

Today's Pointers on God's Word
As you read the passage what words, phases or meanings caught your attention?
- •We live such a hectic and demanding life that there is so little time to reflect on the deeper meaning of life, let alone the meaning of our relationship with Our Lord.
- •We need to spend more quality time with ourselves daily to sense how God wants us to live our lives daily e.g. our attitudes and lifestyles.
- •Also, if you spend more time on developing your spiritual life e.g. reading spiritual books, watching good spiritual movies etc., you will find your life growing in deeper peace and joy within you.
