Dear Friend in the Lord,
Joy in a Repentant Sinner: In today’s Gospel, Jesus proclaims the “Parable of the Lost Sheep” to reveal the Good News that God’s Merciful Love has preferential love for sinners who are suffering from a crises of faith. Ponder on, “God’s Mercy is greater and deeper when our repentance of our sins is more sincere and wholesome.”

Matthew 18:12-14
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Tell me. Suppose a man has a hundred sheep and one of them strays; will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go in search of the stray?
‘In truth I tell you, if he finds it, it gives him more joy than do the ninety-nine that did not stray at all. Similarly, it is never the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.’
