Remembering His Love
Scripture:
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. (Rom 12:11)
Reflection:
To remember the love of Christ is to keep it alive. Forgetfulness leads to coldness, but remembrance rekindles devotion. The Church gives us devotions to the Sacred Heart so that we do not forget how deeply we are loved. In moments of discouragement, recall His goodness. Gratitude becomes a path back to joy and trust. Let us strive to be thankful to God for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Who burns with great love for me. Does my heart in turn burn with great love for Jesus as well as for others?
Prayer:
O my Jesus, Your Sacred Heart burns with great love for us despite we being sinners, and therefore, I dare to ask for (name your request here).
Our Father… Hail Mary…
Glory Be to the Father…
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.
Amen.

Lord Jesus, Your Sacred Heart is always open, with love, to each of us, especially when we are suffering. To all who come to You seeking Your help, You show Your compassion and healing power. You care for us when we are lost, sympathise with us in loneliness and comfort us in mourning; You are closest to us when we are weakest. You reach out Your hand to us when we stumble and have most need of Your help. I ask You to listen to my prayer during this Novena, and grant what I ask. …
If what I ask is not for my own or other’s good, grant me always what is best, that I may build Your kingdom of love in our world. Amen.
