Dear Friend in the Lord,
“Jesus’ Mercy and Compassion”: In today’s Gospel, Jesus proclaimed that He is longing to love everyone with His Divine Mercy and Compassion. And, invites them, “Come to Me all you who are overburdened. . .” Ponder on, “Do we go to Jesus and unburden all our worries, sins and needs to Him; or do we turn to false gods and superficial solutions like alcohol?”

Jesus exclaimed: ‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’
