Two
Jesuits communities reside in Kingsmead Hall: the apostolate
community and novitiate community.

The main apostolate
is the Parish
Church of St Ignatius.
We also serve the
Archdiocese in different ways. We serve the Tamil
speaking migrant workers and meet the spiritual
needs of the staff and students at Catholic Junior College
(CJC). Our priests also act as Spiritual Directors
to the Artists for Christian Theatre (ACT), the Legion
of Mary Praesidiums, the Catholic Medical Guild,
charismatic groups and others. One of us is the
co-ordinator of the Jesuit
Refugee Services (JRS) for Singapore.

Kingsmead Hall also
houses the Centre
for Ignatian Spirituality and Counselling
that offers retreats and counselling services. Various
Church groups also use the centre's facilities for their
meetings and workshops.
On the far end of
Kingsmead Hall is the novitiate, where our Jesuit
novices spend their first two years of formation.
See more pictures of the novitiate and read about how
we live in A
Day in the Life of A Novice.
