3rd Wk in Lent: Saturday 13th March, 2010 (Lk 18:9-14 )
Dear Friend in the Lord,
Self-Righteousness: In today’s Gospel, Jesus points out how the Pharisee was self-righteous in condemning others. The good signs of God’s Spirit in our heart are shown when we have the virtue of humility and gratitude to God for His abundant blessings . But, if we “look down” on others, we can be sure that our faith is superficial.
