DGEMS written by Fr Philip Heng, S.J.

2nd Week of Lent: Wednesday, 3rd March 2010 (Mt 20:17-19, 25-28)

Dear Friend in the Lord,

God Suffering: It is impossible to understand why God wants to suffer for us. He could have “easily” saved us without suffering. To appreciate this truth, we need to believe that God’s Love for us is unconditional. Thus, love is always beyond the cold logic of the secular world.
